I really dislike pictures where, during the ceremony, all you see are guests with their cell phones out to take pictures. I would much prefer the guests enjoy the ceremony and take in the moment with us. Also, we're paying a good penny for two professionals to take pictures for us!

Any suggests on polite ways to phrase this?

I put it on the website, "we respectfully ask our guests to enjoy the ceremony free of cell phones and cameras; we'd love to see your faces, not your devices. We hired amazing photographers and promise to share the photos!" Followed by, "adult-only, camera-friendly reception to follow."

I'll also have the officiant say something and print it on the program. This one is a big deal for me!

We had it put in our programs and our officiant announced it.
