Polaroid guest book suggestion!

Hey guys!
My fiancé and i were planning on doing a Polaroid guest book but we don’t have a camera (fugifilm cameras are like 70&dollar

then i was thinking between purchasing the camera and all the film that’s pretty expensive especially since we probably won’t use it again, then i thought we could always sell it after the wedding

anyway then i did some research and found the canon IVY mini photo printer! It’s about 90$ and the pictures that print out can be stickers which is perfect to stick on the guest book! It is a little more but the photo paper is more inexpensive and i see ourselves using it after the wedding!

thought i would put this out there for others who are thinking of doing a Polaroid guest book as well!!

BTW: you take the pictures from an app on your phone and they print that way! So guests can come up take a. Selfie with the device on the table print it and stick it!

I am doing a Polaroid guest book and I'm doing the film. You can find some good deals on facebook marketplace. Also it determines on how many guests your having which one will be better spent. I have a very small guest list so the film worked out. But If you go on youtube you can find some diy photo guest book videos to help you out.

I was just thinking about doing sonething like this because someone gave me one of those Fugifilm cameras as a gift a few years ago and I’ve never even used it. This gives me an excuse to.

I need to look in to that printer as well. Great idea!

I’m doing a Polaroid guest book too! I already had the camera though so the majority of the cost was film. Amazon frequently has the Fujifilm Instax Mini film on sale for anyone that’s looking!

That's a really good idea! I thought of doing the polaroid photobook as well and got one of the cameras for my daughter for Christmas. But the photo quality is not reliable.

This idea is different. I had considered getting some disposable cameras to go on each table and allow people to catch special moments that the photographer may miss along the night. But I def like this idea instead of signing your name post your picture....

I’ve been debating about a Polaroid guestbook as well and the printer seems like a way better idea! I’ve been struggling with the polaroid because although I have a camera already, the film is expensive and I am worried about a few things...people maybe taking too many pics, the line being long, not having someone to refill the film, etc. I like the printer idea a lot especially since you can just stick! But it has to be used with that app only? I wonder what kind of device can be set up and trusted for people to use and also if it is easy enough for guests to figure out on their own?
