Hi everyone! I really love the idea of having a polaroid guest book but I've heard from some people that it didn't really work out that well... does anyone have any suggestions how they made it work (or where they went to a wedding where it worked)? I like the idea of having someone (like an...

Hi everyone! I really love the idea of having a polaroid guest book but I've heard from some people that it didn't really work out that well... does anyone have any suggestions how they made it work (or where they went to a wedding where it worked)?

I like the idea of having someone (like an attendant) take pictures for each couple and use it as a seating chart- so people took the picture and replaced their number with the photo. How would this work for single folks? Will it take too much time for people to sign a note into the book once they do that? Trying to manage expectations because if it's not going to work, I want to think of a different idea!

Hi, How much film did you end up purchasing? Trying to figure out how much to buy for our wedding.

I purchased more than I needed I would estimate minimum two polaroids per person. Reminder people will pose in groups.

What if you have them snap a photo and put it in a bowl and then also have them sign a small advice and wishes for the Mr. and Mrs. card and put it in a basket. Then the married couple can later match the photos with the cards and assemble the photo guestbook themselves as they read and look at the photos.

I was at a wedding where the coordinator was standing at the door to the reception and took polaroid photos of each party as they walked in. There was a line obviously, but it wasn't that bad. The bride and groom were also standing there so you got a chance to say hi. There wasn't a book to sign, but at least they had photos of all their guests!
