Pocket Square/tie

For our wedding, the groomsmen/bride's man wore red ties and red pocket squares, the best man for a red tie and silver pocket square, my husband wore a silver tie and silver pocket square, and my dad wore a black tie and black pocket square. I personally think it is completely up to you what you want them to wear. If you want them to be slightly different that's fine, but if you want them to be the exact same that's fine too.

I think it's totally fine if they're the exact same color!!

You could also do a complimenting color, or I really like your idea of adding a new texture or pattern in with the pocket square!

Most style experts will advise against matching the tie and pocket square but even back in the 40s, when menswear was at its awesomest, guys would match sometimes. But the most classic thing to do would be to go with a white pocket square, ideally made of linen.
