Plus sized groom attire

We got our tuxes from men's wearhouse. They have a wide range of sizes.

We are actually going on the 22nd to pick out the suits

My FH is broad shouldered and wears a size 52 suit, but doesn't have a particularly large middle. He got a slim fit suit which was shocking because these typically are too small for his shoulders. We stopped at a men's wearhouse and he just tried on what he likes. Maybe just do that? We looked for online inspiration but it's so hard. He also has a 3 piece linen suit from DXL, so that would be a nice option too. His suit is a Ralph Lauren ultra flex and he said it's really comfortable.

I wouldnt trade him for the world. I LOVE it !!! I didnt know what I was missing with the big bearded men!!! : )

Our wedding is not formal at all. So tuxes are out. It will be held on. MY sisters farm. He likes the look of the fitted jean with the vest and sport jacket. I just want him to be comfortable with himself. He hasnt really offered up any other ideas. He drives me crazy. Hahaha.

Just choose a day that you can spend a little time and try some things on, just choose a store where he has found comfortable things in the past and see what they have to offer, if there isn't one that you can think of go somewhere with a lot of choices like maybe a Macy's or even sears (FH wears a ton of lands end to work and thinks it's really comfortable and looks nice on him) and just see how it goes. Also JC Penny's usually has some big/tall jacket and vest options

Mine is also wide shoulder with a belly. He has had good luck in the past with Men's Warehouse.

We've gotten many dress shirts and jackets from DXL in the past, and have gotten great customer service. It's a great store.

For the wedding though I think we're doing Macy's! They carry a range of sizes that covers my S-M brother (groomsman) to my 3X groom.

We are having a fairly informal wedding and my fh will be getting his dress pants and vest at jc penny's. He's a large man and has no problem with clothes from there. You can see plus size men on their site.

Ohheyitscait ill be wearing this. ( though I am having a little bit of regret, so it may change)

Commenting just to say that it is absolutely frustrating that there is no representation of larger grooms out there in the wedding world ( in regard to images/photos). I thought it was bad enough that there is minimal representation of plus sized brides, but there isn't anything for grooms!

Some of the grooms on Pretty Pear Bride are larger, so I would check there. And some of the grooms on here are as well, so you could search the BAMs to see if anything pops up. DH got his suit from a local suit shop but it made him look much slimmer.

ETA: I would also suggest using different key words in your searches, like "plus size suit men" or "plus size tuxedo" AND using google images to search for those terms as well as "plus size groom."

Veeismee. I agree. I was like WTH when i went to search some images the other night. While there are plenty of styles that he and I both like, all the pics are on smaller men. It looks good on them, but may not be flattering on his body type. : ( lots to do to pick something. That you girls for your help and suggestions.
