Plus size Brides - What style dress?

My gown was a size 20. I got it at David's Bridal. On the website I hated it. I only tried it on because my niece/MOH loved it. She was right. The same was a 26 so I was clipped in big time. Here is a pic of me on my recent wedding day. It's a flattering style for plus-sized ladies. I felt beautiful and it brought tears to my groom's eyes.

I’m a plus size bride as well and loooove my a-line gown. This is my dress on one of the models from the store where I went shopping.

I'm a bridal stylist and we recently had a trunk show for Studio Levana and these dresses were simply stunning! They are a plus size couture line and we had so many appointments made just to try them on. They look so flattering on each girl and are my new favorite designer for plus size wedding gowns!

I got mine at David's Bridal. It's a drop waist ballgown that made my waist look super tiny. I only have pics of me in the sample, but I'm a size 22 and my dress fit me perfectly. Doesn't even really need much hemming. DB has a ton of plus size samples that were flattering. Honestly I even could have pulled off a fit and flare we found, but my mom vetoed the ruffles - it was a lot more than the one I picked even!

I'm a size 22 in bridal. I bought a ball gown. (haven't done alterations yet).

I chose a strapless sheath gown with off-shoulder draping to cover my arms a little bit. I think I might wear a beaded sash to give it a little more 'curve' appeal. I'm a size 18 with a bigger tummy than anything else. It's definitely different from other dresses I wear - I usually like fit and flare or something that hides my tummy. To be fair, I was feeling REALLY confident when I bought my dress.

Thank you very much! My two stepsons in the picture with me nearly lost it when I walked and they saw me. Neither one is usually at a loss for words but they were speechless...and thrilled I was marrying their dad

If you are able to, get yourself to a plus size bridal salon! I could try on every dress in the store, but I ended up picking the second one I tried on (I tried on 5-6). I chose an A line, lace bodice and sleeve. The back isn't too low either.
