I found my dress- I was so self conscious about my stomach (thx to my 4 kids) - I was petrified I wasn’t going to find it or the dress was gonna look frumpy on me. I love my dress but hated how it laid across my stomach & it was tight across my bust. I was at my heaviest (around 235 pds) & it took 1.5 to lose the weight. I’m down to 188 & was finally able to get my tummy tuck & liposuction. I can’t wait for January when I get my alterations done! Your dress is out there- waiting for you to find her!!

I felt the same way but I have to say I really enjoyed the experience, even the dresses that didn't look good on me. I didn't think it was possible but I found a dress that I feel like a beautiful princess in! Make sure they carry plus size samples and keep an opened mind. The other thing to remember is that no one looks good in everything. Don't be hard on yourself if something doesn't look right on you. Move on to the next one. Enjoy the process for what it is and only buy the dress that you feel absolutely beautiful in! It's out there so no settling. Good luck.

Try not to be so hard on yourself! It can be a scary thought, especially if you aren’t comfortable in your skin right now, but wedding gowns truly do look beautiful on and you will find one perfect for you.

I was so scared to go.. We went to a boutique as well i prayed id fit in these dresses. They made me feel sooo comfortable. I was actually excited and i got to pick out a bunch of dresses to try on and she said dont worry about the size pick what you like and we can pull the ones we got out. Just surround yourself with people who will be SUPPORTIVE. I went with just my 2 friends. I said yes and cried. YOU GOT THIS GIRL. Have fun with it

I was the same way but when you find the dress, you will feel so beautiful. I'm just worried I might not fit into mine..

You are beautiful! If you haven’t ever went bridal dress shopping yet please don’t be alarmed when they tell you your dress size is 2xs your normal size! Bridal dresses all run 1-2x smaller. You will find a dress that makes you look and feel beautiful! If you’re conscientious of your waist or legs (like I was) a good pair of spanks does wonders for that confidence too!! 😉 Don’t settle! Find THE ONE and enjoy every single minute of feeling pampered!! Let your stylist help you too. Provide them with a vision of what you’re looking for and if they have an idea that may not be right in line just go with it girl!! The dress I bought and fell in love with was NOTHING like what I was originally looking for. I can’t imagine being in any other dress now. Enjoy every minute of it!!!

It’ll be fine. Every woman can find a beautiful dress that flatters her figure. I know how you feel but it’ll be a fun experience and you will find many dresses that look beautiful so don’t worry. Remember being plus sized doesn’t and will never make you less beautiful than anyone else. Weight has noting to do with beauty if you feel confident in yourself and accept yourself others will see that confidence and see your beauty.

I am a plus size as well and was terrifed of going dress shopping. I am currenty 5 months pregnant I was 4 When I went I was open minded to trying on everything, and I found my dress. it's a beautiful mermaid here are some tips

be open minded

ball gowns will make you look bigger in the stomach area while a line and mermaid tends to make you look slimmer. if you are short I would stay away from dresses with a lot of tulle as they will make you seem like you are drowning in your dress and that the dress wears you,

remember that you are gorgeous and that your fiancé loves you
