Plus Size Bridal Shower/rehearsal Dinner/brunch Dresses

Hello! I'm getting married on April 14, 2018 and I have been on the look out for plus size dresses for my bridal shower, rehearsal, and morning after brunch. I see beautiful dresses at all of the normal department stores, but they only go up to a 16. I wear an 18/20 in most clothes, but dresses from bridal stores like David's I'm more like a 22/24. I'm frustrated because just because I'm plus size doesn't mean that I want to look like I'm an old woman. Has anyone had any luck? I'd love to hear any ideas you might have! Thank you in advance!

Try Dress Barn, Catos, Torrid, JCPenney has really cute plus size outfits, Lane Bryant (but they are expensive), Forever 21 has plus size options but you have to really hunt around for nice stuff

I found a dress at Ross for my rehearsal dinner (it’s white and blush). Like you I’m just a size or so off from some normal sizing, and they carried women’s sizes, at leas in my store. I’ve also had luck at Kohl’s for sizes on dresses!

Maurices! I haven't bought a dress from there yet, but when their spring dresses come out, that's where I'm getting mine from! Super affordable & good fit& quality!

Torrid or Lane Bryant. My wedding dress actually came from Lane Bryant and would work for those since it was pretty casual.

You can do a search on Amazon. I used to buy my plus size clothes from there and most of the time they fit, occasionally I had to send them back.

I got a great dress from Adrianna Pappell that I will wear for my rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. I think they're having a flash sale right now. I love eShakti.com (and they customize!), and I second both Simply be and Eloquii depending on what you're looking for.

I feel your pain! I'm the same size and it just gets me down looking online at dresses since all the ones I love aren't even made in plus size. I want to have all the same options that the regular size ladies have I wanted to lose enough weight to get down to regular sizes but I seriously doubt that will happen with enough time to find a dress. Good luck on you shopping journey! This makes me a little relieved that no one is planning any sort of showers or parties that I have to dress up for lol
