Plus size bra solution

Having cups sewn into the dress and boob tape, my chest is too chunky without it! Those cups are a life saver, your alterations seamstress can put in padded ones to give lift too.

It wasn’t a problem to sew them in and my bodice was lace too. With your illusion back there isn’t really a bra you can wear. Those stick on ones were a joke for me, they made me sag more.

Sew cups in for sure. If you need extra extra support, you can wear a foundation garment with or without straps. Be sure to have any of those with you for your first fitting. The seamstress probably has the cups.

I love your dress! Random question, I have an illusion back too and was looking at options for the buttons that go up the back, maybe crystal buttons rather than ivory. What are yours? I think they look beautiful and understated!

My dress has the back exposed and a deep cut in front as well. The cups are being sewn into my dress and they are hefty push up cups. I cant deal with sticky cups either. If the are placed right, it might be enough support. Your seamstress should be able to offer you the best advice based on your body and dress type. They make backless bras and some of them are also made to accommodate a deep cut in front. I doubt that you will need it though. Hope it works out for you.
