Please Double Check My Stationary List

Kari, on January 18, 2020 at 7:26 PM Posted in Planning 1 3

We're at the point where we are about to purchase invitations, but before doing so I was trying to think of other wedding stationary needs, that way when we are deciding we can get matching or complimentary templates and maybe a discount for purchasing multiple items through the same vendor.

We did email STDs already, so no need to print that. We want to do physical invitations, but online RSVP on our wedding website, so don't require printed RSVP cards or return envelopes. We also need to print our menus and do place cards with guests name, table, and meal choice (our caterer/venue requires this because we are doing plated meals). We plan to send physical Thank You cards after the wedding. Our venue has plenty of signage, so I don't think we need extra printed signs at all.

So...

Invitations + envelopes

Menus

Place cards

Thank you cards

Is there anything I'm missing?

Stamps. Some places offer matching stamps. Reserved place cards if you will be reserving seats for the ceremony.

If you’ll be giving thank you gifts or writing special thank you notes for day-of-wedding (parents, spouse) or at the rehearsal dinner (bridesmaids, groomsmen), that might be worth getting. We also had a welcome sign and a large bar menu that we designed to coordinate with our invitations. And little social media table signs for cocktail hour with our hashtag, IG tag and Snapchat tag.

Daughter ordered round stickers that coordinated with the other wedding stationery to put on the favors (chocolate chip cookies in a cellophane bags). They were super cute and tied everything together. The cookie bags were tucked into the folds of the cloth napkins at each placesetting.
