Congrats! I have never been there, but I recently booked out honeymoon to go to Cancun and stay at Sun Palace! Should be fun, how exciting huh?!!

@Mayra, that is so exciting!! We almost stayed at the Sun Palace. It looks really nice!

We just got married there on May 1 and had our reception on the deck...it's a beautiful resort and our guests absolutely loved it...one thing to note, we had a terrible time with the transportation company our guests were asked to use to get a free shuttle to/from the airport, 'Trafic Tours'...hopefully they are using someone else now, but it was a mess. Also, be sure to get all of your decisions in writing to avoid any last minute obstacles. We used Joss Morales from cancununiqueweddings.com as our wedding planner and she was EXCELLLENT...she took care of all the details and helped us avoid any headaches so we were able to enjoy the entire experience. I highly recommend someone like Joss to deal with all the little details you don't want to have to while you're in paradise with your family.
