Plated Dinner VS. Buffet

Anyone have any thoughts on the whole plated dinner vs. buffet? I origianally was going to go with a venue that offered either and it was my choice but now I have found another venue that i really love but buffet dinner is the only option. Does anyone have any thoughts on the whole plated vs....

Anyone have any thoughts on the whole plated dinner vs. buffet? I origianally was going to go with a venue that offered either and it was my choice but now I have found another venue that i really love but buffet dinner is the only option. Does anyone have any thoughts on the whole plated vs. buffet. Good or bad, I appreciate the advice. Thanks~

    Thanks. I wasn't really sure. I honestly haven't been to all that many weddings. The buffet of course would not be self serve, we will have attendants. I honestly kind of preferred sit down because I think it's more formal as well but my wedding is outside so I think a buffet just tends to be more fitting for an outside wedding.
