Plastic Folding Chairs?

Anyone use those at your reception..withOUT covers? We are having kind of a laid back reception, but pretty big. Talking around 150-180 guests.
Will it look stupid or be tacky?
We are planning to order table cloths (ivory) and we have royal blue table runners. Just going to toss some rose petals along the runner and that will be our "center piece".

We just got married and this reception will be later this year. We are using the flowers (sola) from the ceremony to decorate the dessert table and my bouquet will be the centerpiece at our table.

    I'm not covering our folding chairs. Our final guest count is 177 (including us). We plan to have white table clothes and centerpieces (no table runner).

    What do your chairs look like though? I feel like the metal folding ones look fine uncovered, but the ones we have are the plastic ones that match the plastic folding tables. Like youd see at a kids party. Hahaha!

    If you think it’s going to bother you I would go ahead and get them but I don’t think you have to have them. We aren’t using them. I think if you were having something super formal maybe the plastic chairs would look out of place but since you said laid back reception I wouldn’t worry about it, your guests will only care about having a chair, not what it looks like haha

    That's very true! Just a place to sit, now how it looks. I just wanted to know I wasn't the only one having plastic chairs with no cover. Lol
