I got engaged Nov. 3, 2018 and my wedding will be Nov. 9, 2019. I ultimately wanted a year to plan for our wedding, which I have found to be plenty of time!

I got engaged on November 27, 2017 and my wedding is this October 19th. I did some basic planning this past year, but most of my planning is being crammed into 4 months. I work best under pressure!Smiley laugh

Engaged on May 13 2017 and wedding is on June 6 2020. We wanted enough time to be able to afford/ plan what we wanted and enjoy the time rather then rush.

I got engaged April 8, 2018 and started planning immediately. My wedding is November 24, 2019. It’s been more than enough time.

We had a 9 month engagement; started planning at month 7; and were pretty much done a month out.

Engaged May 2019, getting married October 2020. I wanted at least a year and so far I've been working my way through the vendors at a nice leisurely pace which has been nice

We got engaged Dec 31, 2016 and got married on Dec 2, 2017, so it was just under a year! And it was honestly plenty of time. I didn't really start planning until February/March and didn't feel stressed at all.

In theory, 14 months. In practice, we got the officiant and all the venues (overnight accommodations, ceremony, luncheon after the ceremony, and at-home reception) worked out within about the first two weeks. We then didn't do anything more until about four months before the ceremony.

Just over a year. Got engaged on July 14, 2018 and wedding is August 17, 2019. Gave us time to save up some money and secure some vendors and not seem like a crazy process of nothing but wedding stuff to do.

Our engagement was about two years, we had family traveling from abroad and wanted to give everyone time to plan and save. I loved having a longer engagement!

I little less than 2 years. I have been planning a lot the last 7 months, but I know that Fall/Christmas time is rough for us with work and functions so there will be a slight break.

I am a planner so I knew that I wanted to be able to try things out and change things as needed. Plus I want to DIY a lot, but I am not a big crafter so I need time to mess things up and then fix them Smiley smile

When we got engaged in the summer, we decided on a spring wedding to save money. That meant 6 months to plan or 18 months... we chose 18 months but didn’t do much the first few months. Would not have wanted less than 1 year!

We visited our venue on March 2 of this year and got married in May 18th which is 11 weeks minus the 1 st week to agree on the place and get in touch with them. 😊. It was only 55 people but to do all that in basically 10 weeks 100% by myself .....oh and in a Florida (we live in Maryland) was stressful, but I did it. Anything can be done. Good luck

We got engaged May 18, 2019 and will get married April 11, 2020. But I had spreadsheets of vendors to look at made before the proposal. I was prepared! Lol

Our engagement is 18 months. We've done venue, guest list, and starting our STD's this month. Next step is catering with a hair under a year to go. We're pretty much set with photography and dj through friendors I think. Have to finalize that.

From engagement to wedding, there's a 14 month difference.
