Planning / rsvp, what % didn't turn up?

We haven't had our wedding yet. We invited 223, right now we have 98 yes, 45 no, and waiting on the rest (around 90) to RSVP. Our RSVP date is in 12 days. We invited full families (so some parents are coming without kids), a ton of out of state guests, and some elderly guests, so we assumed a larger amount of "no" but we still budgeted as if everyone said yes. From prior forums I've read, most brides only have a few no-shows.

Based on following this forum for nearly 2 years, I think it's REALLY hard to accurately predict. I've read many posts from brides who had nearly 100% acceptances and posts from brides who were shocked that less than 50% of those invited were going to attend. Daughter's target was always 100 people. They invited 127, expecting that we'd likely end up between 95-110 (but, we had room and could afford to host all 127, if everyone unexpectedly accepted). We ended up with an 80% acceptance rate -- 101 (97 adults + 4 kids in the wedding party); and everyone who RSVP'd attended. (Daughter only did online RSVP's and on the due date, all but 10 people had responded -- 1 family and 2 couples; she was able to get those responses within 3 days.)

When is your RSVP date for your guests? You should have time once they have all been received to liaise with your venue and caterer for the amount of guests you are expecting.
