Planning our 1 year anniversary of marriage trip

Alejandra, on May 16, 2019 at 3:16 PM Posted in Married Life 0 4

Hubby & I were married March, 2019 and took an amazingly wonderful honeymoon right after. We wanted to return to our honeymoon spot for our 1 year to complete doing things that we did not get the chance to do. We're not looking to stay at the same place or area instead somewhere nearby our honeymoon spot but new to us. We're so excited to do things as a married couple now and are keeping up the excitement by adding this in. By planning this out over the next few months we have something grand to look forward to.

What are you other couples doing to keep everything lively and exciting?

That sounds like fun!!! We are basically redoing our whole house and yard (started right before we got married) turns out we work really well because he's fantastic about details like while laying flooring he measures double and I get to install cause I'm one of those weirdos who enjoys things like putting together IKEA furniture HAHAHA!!! Oh man we are a super exciting couple right? 🤣

Where is your 1 year anniversary trip going to be?

Once our wedding and honeymoon are over, we are going to start focusing on getting him a new car and paying off that student loan debt. Ooohhh sexy.
We also have plans to plan trips to New York, the West Coast, and Tokyo.

We went to Cancun and now we're thinking of staying nearby either in Tulum, Playa Del Carmen or the Riviera Maya. We went snorkeling near the underwater museum and did all sorts of fun things that in reality are not found everywhere. Pricing is way better there as well, you get so much for what you're paying almost every excursion included food (I mean big buffet) and drinks (alcoholic) with the cost. The people that work there are always so happy, a lot of them told us stories of how they went for vacation and just stayed because they loved it. There are so many natural wonders there and you just can't see it all in 7 days. They have these adventure parks Xplor, Xcaret, Xelha, Xavage, etc that are day long activities and you get picked up from your hotel in one of those charter buses like at 7 am and return like at 12 am, but they are amazing. On top of all of these fun things you can visit chichen itza, a pyramid and tour the pyramids and all of its secrets. I mean thats still just the tip of the iceberg there are still a million other things to do there. Don't get me wrong we definitely plan to visit other places but we felt like we still wanted just a little bit more!!
