Hello everyone! Let's talk about wedding colors! How did you pick your colors? Pinterest or real life inspiration? Post a picture of your color palette inspiration below! I'll start!

Purple has always been one of my favorite colors since I was a little kid. I saw the top left picture in this collage and was instantly sold on using shades of purple for my September 7th wedding.

Let's see those palettes!

My wedding could go two different directions. Goth or too much color.
I spent a lot of time online searching when I found these photos and I knew what I wanted.

Jewel tone and goth weddings are so pretty! Can't go wrong with jewel tones, and goth weddings feel so mysterious and magical. Love it!

Pink and green are my favorite colors and when I saw a blog post of a model wedding I was like “this is it!”

My palette is very similar to yours! Purple is my favorite color and that top left picture was one of the very first ones I saw when I started wedding planning.

I originally picked the colors via pinterest, but when I went to our venue I changed my mind! We're doing ivory, natural greenery, and a dusty blue.

I wanted a very earthy and natural color palette, so I went with dark green, emerald, and white!

We're going with pink (light and medium) and navy with rose gold, gold, and silver accents! I, actually, got the pink and navy inspiration from a girl I went to high school's wedding! I love sparkles and glitter so the rose gold, gold, and silver came into play with that. I, originally, wanted our main color to be rose gold, but it's hard to find a lot of decor in that color. Here are a few of our things for the wedding!

I love, love, love pink! But it didn't fit into our theme or venue for our DW or local reception. Here's what we did...

I literally don't have a favorite color, i swear it changes with nett moods lol and no inspiration for colors. I really liked the navy blue and burgundy/garnet but I just felt that wasnt me or us at all.
I talked with my bridesmaids and didn't realize all of their favorite colors was a variation of dark green. Plus I had to pick at least one color FH and GM would wear. So, we went with Juniper Green as our primary color and have mint, blush pink, dark pink, rose gold as accents and a small amount of yellow added into bouquets only. I know that sounds like a ton of colors but so far its worked out really well together. Plus our ceremony and reception is outside in a large opened space.

Tee hee. Us too! Wish we put 4-6 months in between each instead of 3 months (both were heavy DIY and we were sick for a month after our wedding). But it was outrageously fun having two different events!

If we didn't have such bold themes, I might have gone with a moody blue color palette. While researching colors in the beginning, I came across the blues/gray/greenery combo and fell IN LOVE. It's dreamy, mysterious, and refreshing:

My FH is retired military (21 years in the Army) and I wanted to honor him for our upcoming wedding. So our wedding colors are Black/Gold with ivory as an accent.

I’m not sure if you can tell how BLUE our venue is. We decided to work with it. Our colors are white/navy/metallic.
