Planning a wedding and finding out I’m pregnant

Ashley, on March 29, 2022 at 1:54 AM Posted in Planning 0 1
I am planning my November 2022 wedding, but I have just found out I’m pregnant. The baby is due in November, so it’s no option to keep our original date. We are planning to move up our wedding to May or early June. I’m asking for any advice and tips with moving our wedding up so soon. Thanks in advance!

Congrats! I would say first secure a new venue (or see if your old one has an earlier date!) After that once you have the new date reach out to any vendors to see if they are available. The ones that aren't need replaced. I'd also send a "change of date/invitation" to your guests as soon as you know the new date/location as well.

Be aware that when suddenly changing your date to be sooner, guests are going to ask questions, so either be ready to tell people you're pregnant, or come up with some other lie that you can tell everyone! Better to have that figured out with FH so that when people ask, what you tell them is consistent haha
