So this is our second wedding. We were both already married once and would like to elope but do not want to go to the courthouse. We are trying to find a romantic getaway place to get married in pennsylvania that is under about 500.00 if possible maybe close to that. If anyone has a suggestion I would really appreciate the help.Oh yeah also we would like to get married in September of this year so I dont have a whole lot of time to plan. I just need something for the ceremony not the reception. Thanks so much.

Did you look into the poconos? where are you in PA? the poconos are about 2-2 1/2 hrs from philly. I know its recommended for easy honeymoons so I'm sure you could find somewhere to do a nice ceremony and then stay. other than that I'm not sure.

Try the casinos in the poconos. Ot one of the resorts they will let you get married outside for a small fee and get an officiant. If you live in the poconos that have many areas there like park and such. If you need assistances with planning feel free to contact me.

I believe you can elope in New Hope, Pa. Its about 1 1/2 hours outside of Philadelphia.
