Place cards - Writing in or printing?

I’m hand writing mine. So much easier for me than figuring out how to print them.

Handwritten is actually the preferred thing, for both addressing envelopes, and place cards or escort cards. Seen as more personal, less business or commercial in presentation. It took me the length of one movie, about 2 hours, to handwrite 2 cards for each of 167 names . Getting the lists and addresses ready is the hard part. Simple names are easy. Eve. With breaks every few cards, it took me less time than 2 sisters who printed theirs, by the time they set it up, chose font, etc. Then they had to sort them by table. Or for chart. I made them out in sorted piles, easily. Not a big job.

I wrote mine.

We had a calligrapher do ours for our formal wedding.

I think it'd be nice handwritten but I'd probably print to save time

I think printed is more formal but if you have nice handwriting you can write them

I printed mine, but I also have atrocious hand writing.
