Pizza as main dish?

Hi everyone! My FH and I LOVE pizza and everyone knows that. The venue we booked allows outside catering. Plus we're getting married on a Friday. If we just had the pizza delivered and in a heater until dinner time we would save TONS of money. What do you guys think? Im surprised I haven't heard...

I love pizza as a late night snack but not as the main dish at a wedding. If you're having a backyard wedding though it would probably be fine. I'd just make to have a second entree option for the people who aren't able to eat or don't want to eat pizza, as well as plenty of sides

I think this is the best option, personally. My brother and SIL opted for a wood-fired pizza truck at their wedding. They had some traditional flavors for kids, but lots of "gourmet" flavors for adults. We didn't need any additional sides, because the pizzas themselves were pretty schnazzy. They were served family style on each table. It was honestly the most memorable wedding food I've ever had (well, besides the vegan pulled pork, LOL)

Their wedding was a "backyard" wedding technically (under a tent), but it was overlooking a meadow, very fancy. It fit the theme well.
