Pixie cut hair with cathedral veil

Hi all! I have a pixie cut and have been looking for ideas on wearing a cathedral veil. When they fixed it in my hair with bobby pins at DB it was way too heavy for my tiny hairs and I couldn't move without pain!

I've been thinking maybe some sort of headband, but have been struggling to find one really able to work. Any suggestions?

Thanks Brittany! The top one is the one I've been working off of, actually, but I'm worried that the headband would slip right off with the weight of the veil!

Maybe a few bobby pins to secure the headband could work. Take the veil and headband with you to your hair trial (if you're having one, of course). I'm sure they could figure it out better than DB could.

PS - I LOVE that first headband @Brittany posted. Simple and cute.
