Pineapple centerpieces?

I'm thinking of something similar. They're a symbol of hospitality and I think there's room to do a lot with them.

I love pineapples! This is a really cute idea I’ve never seen it before

My only concern would be fresh vs fake pineapples. They're not the easiest fruit to work with so hollowing them out might be a pain. Depending on how many you need and the time frame you're working with you'll have to think about storing them so they don't go bad or start to smell funky. If you use fake it might be difficult to find ones that look realistic.

Basically, cute idea but tricky logistically.

My mom has a pretty cool pineapple tool that you just twist in and then pull out the entire core. It is pretty cool and last summer we had fun with it and used the pineapple as a cup for fruity drinks! I think these centerpieces are gorgeous and super unique!
