Pictures

Because of time restraints, and not doing a first look, we are just going to take them around our venues (church and hotel!), but I would love to hear what others plan on doing!

We're just taking ours at our venue. You could go to a local park or really any public place.

We have about a 3 hour time frame between our ceremony & reception time. & we live about 10 minutes from our church where the ceremony is held, thats why I thought our property.

We did the bulk of ours at the ceremony venue (including first looks to save time) and then the remainder of them prior to the cocktail hour at our reception venue. Our reception venue is a theater and banquet hall so there were a lot of really neat spaces we wanted to make sure we captured. Would have loved to take more photos outside, but we got some rain, so that didn't happen.

We are going to a botanical garden near our venue. It has a rose garden, waterfall, Japanese garden, old railroad station, etc. So plenty of backgrounds and locations for photos.

Our venue is outdoors on a farm so we'll be taking pictures around the property. My sister got married at a hotel and across the street there was one of those round-a-bouts in the road and in the middle of that was like a mini park. There were trees and benches and they took some photos there. Friends of ours got marri d last month and they went to a waterfall near by (it was a short "hike" down a wooded path.)

Is there a park or something near by you could go to? Maybe a state park where it's wooded and you could find a fallen log or a pond or something to take them by.
