Danielle, on October 3, 2019 at 5:12 PM Posted in Family and Relationships 0 13
So I’m getting married in 1 week and lately I have just been wanting to pick fights with my Fiancé.... like everything is annoying me and I’m getting angry at everything he does.... is this just me? What the heck is going on....

I get like that sometimes.. Take one night this week to do something away from him? Hopefully that will help Smiley smile

The weird part is that I don't feel super stressed about the wedding because we have been engaged and planning it for over a year. Definitely anxious as we are finally getting down to the thing ACTUALLY Happening... mainly family causing stress then the wedding itself. I do understand how I may be taking my frustration out on him though with that.. BOOOO

I assume it means you are extra stressed even if you don't think you are. I would try to consciously realize what you are doing so you can avoid it, and find other ways to relieve stress.

You are definitely right, even though I don't feel that "Stressed" - i clearly am taking it out in another way. Poor guy haha!

I have been doing this too. Hes gotten to hear the words "You're right" and "I'm sorry" a lot. I agree with PPS... just because you dont have noticeable stress, doesnt mean you're not. It all adds up. I would just take a night and do something fun. Encourage your FH to do the same. Good luck and happy planning. 🍀

Yeah you're stressed. I have just told FH at times this week that I needed some space because he was getting on my nerves. Take some time to do some pampering, away from your fiance. It will help!

Yeah I definitely will. I feel bad that a week before the wedding I’m like “you need to go away” hahaha but I am definitely getting a bit overwhelmed

Take some time apart-go get a massage, take a day off to do NO WEDDING STUFF (sacrilege, I know). Delegate as much as you can. If you live together, maybe sleep in a separate room for a night to cool off-I know when my FH is up late playing games I miss him next to me in bed.

This happens to me sometimes, and the only thing that seems to help is taking a nice break from wedding planning. Have some mixed drinks (or if you don't drink, tea or coffee), read a book, watch a movie, go for walks or go to the library or something. Do something pleasant with or without your fiance and cool off. If you say something to offend or maybe slight hurt him, be sure to apologize!! All the bestSmiley smile

Tensions are probably just high due to upcoming nuptials. Try to relax. I know its easier said than done but try not to pick fights with him Smiley smile

The one upside for me is that I had my (first and hopefully only) meltdown on the day I was testing the waterproof mascara. I didn't know that ugly crying would be part of my makeup testing routine, but the mascara held up like a champ!
