I am having a June wedding and I am all about the meaning of something. I am thinking love and happiness Art Deco. What do you think?

It’s not really clear what you’re referring to. Your theme? Love and happiness should (hopefully) be the theme for all weddings, but Art Deco is super trendy right now. Sounds great!

No, you don't. You can have colors and a general feel that you're going for, but you don't necessarily need a theme.

I started with a theme but it adjusted as I went along. Different elements will affect that. I would hold off on really setting anything until you have a venue and dress.

The theme should be your wedding, but picking some colors would be helpful. Lots of stuff can be found on Pinterest.

You should go with your heart. However you want your wedding to be then go with it. Start with a simple color and it should develop into the Art Deco wedding that you want,

I'm more of a "Proms needed themes, I'll do whatever I want for my wedding" sorta thinker.

My mother wouldn't let me have a theme for the wedding. I think I remember asking and she equated it to having a Bat Mitzvah. Lol. My Bat Mitzvah reception theme was The Secret Garden. It was in June, 1996. The Secret Garden or a garden party would be a perfect theme for a June wedding. My wedding is also in June, but I don't have a theme.

Don't feel obligated to have a theme Smiley smile Our June wedding theme is "wedding". lol

I feel like everyone goes nutssss with themes and it really causes the price tag (and sometimes the guest confusion) to go up, and IMO it's just not needed. Why not just be classy and classic? That being said, you can definitely throw elements of your style in there! Art deco is lovely.
