Piano or pipe organ

I just sent my music selection to the music lady of the church i'm marrying and i requested a piano. She said I'm i sure i want a piano because everyone she has worked with has always chosen the pipe organ and this church has the best pipe organ in the valley. I was opposed to a pipe organ because its so grand and triumphant and i like romantic better. Anyone have any experience with either or. What do you think? What did you choose?

Our church only has an organ, so I wouldn't get a choice. Can you go to the church and have her play the same piece of music on each instrument, so you can see how it would sound on your wedding day? And then if you still like the piano better, go with it!

I'm going with the organ - but it's totally personal choice! Very different sounds and effects! Personally I want the loud dramatic organ

If I were getting married in a church, I'd definitely choose an organ!
Keep in mind that organs don't necessarily have to sound dramatic - they have all kinds of stops and buttons and settings that can make them seem very intimate, peaceful, etc.
