Physical vs digital invites!

Hello! Ok so I know I’m jumping the gun since my invitations won’t be sent out until April of next year- however I’m very curious as to why people are saying digital invites aren’t taken seriously? And if so how do I got about sending out physical invitations- especially if I don’t have addresses on some people? Can I invite some digitally and send others physical invitations? Any advice? 💖

    Weddings are formal events and a digital invite isn't really formal. Digital ones can also get overlooked or lost in spam or accidentally deleted. If you don't have someone's address just ask them. Between my mother-in-law and my mom we were able to get addresses for all relatives. For our friends we knew most of their addresses and the ones we didn't we just texted asking.

    You're welcome! I know The Knot has a link you can send directly to whoever you are inviting and they will out their names, address, phone, and email I believe. Not sure if WeddingWire has the same option.

    I’m most likely sending digital invitations. I live in a separate country from all of my guests and the logistics of filling out customs forms for 45 envelopes makes my head hurt.
