Photos

For the most part, the photographer should know what moments/events to capture throughout the day (first look, walking down the aisle, first dance, etc), but if there was something specific you wanted, definitely make sure to list that! For example, "a photo with my roommates from college" or "a photo of my grandma's reaction to me walking down the aisle" or "a close-up photo of the details on the cake". For group pictures, make a list of each group photo that you want just to ensure none are missed.

I'm mostly sticking to the typical shots, but the one "extra" thing I do want is a first look with my dad, so the photographer is taking about 10 minutes for that.

We'll go over the major moments when we meet with them closer to. But I'm making a list of specific people/groups we want pictures with. Like my FH and I have a lot of friends through an online survivor community, so we'll want a few pics with people from that community. And we'll want one with our extended families on either side (like for me my moms side with 2nd, 3rd cousins are always close so I'll want a pic with all of us together. My FH both his parents are close with their siblings and their children, so he'll want pics with both sides with aunts/uncles/cousins), other various friend group pictures. Etc.

My photographer has a list to use as a starting point, then I'll make the list of family/friend group shots. I'm going to leave the more artsy ones up to her and only provide the list of staged photos I'd like. She knows we're doing a first look because of our schedule, and she knows she'll be there for my getting ready portion!
