Our photographer is starting to upload photos from our wedding to her website and all of the photos my husband took with each groomsmen/groomswoman individually are funny photos. For instance, in one phone the groomswoman gave him bunny ears and in another a groomsman is holding up my husband's leg. I am fine with funny photos but I would like some serious ones as well. I asked him if they took serious photos too and he said yes. I am hoping those end up being included as well. If not, do you think it would be ok to ask her about them or would you just deal with the funny photos? Any advice would be super helpful.

    I would wait until all the photos are added. If your photographer is limiting the number of photos they release to your and/or edit (should be in your contract), and you end up only getting funny poses, then I think you can reach out and see if you can get the more standard ones.

    I definitely plan on waiting. Our contract says 400+ photos. I just don't want to be bothersome about wanting more standard photos.

    My photographer took funny pictures as well as serious ones. He provided both sets when he gave us all of our pictures. Your photographer is probably showing the pictures that make your wedding different on the website, but you should be provided with both. If not, then I would reach out. It doesn't hurt to ask once you've received all of your pictures.

    She includes all of our photos in an online gallery which is where she is currently uploading the photos to so as soon as she is done uploading when I will reach out to her if she only includes the funny ones because I would like the more standard ones as well.

    I'm sure they will pop up edited. It takes time to edit photos.

    But think about how awesome it will be in your 80s to look through a photo album and be able to laugh at funny pictures. That will be pretty awesome.
