Photos with flashes at Sandals?

Hi! I have non-epileptic photosensitivity and can’t be around camera flashes. We are considering going to a Sandals resort for our honeymoon and heard they have photographers all over the island. Does anyone know if there is a lot of flash photography around the resort? The last thing I need is to be spending my honeymoon hiding from flashes or on the floor having a flash induced episode!

Can you request ahead of time for ways they can stop or reduce these photos with flashes? Are glasses available to block the effect? I just noticed that this flash photography goes beyond just the resort. That sounds like it will be hard to avoid around that location. Maybe someone has more experience with this situation. I wanted to just remind people of this question for now.

Thank you so much for your response Michael! We ended up booking a room last night and our travel agent said she will let the resort know so that when we get there, there will be people to help advise us on places to avoid. Hoping they can also let restaurants know when we are eating to keep photographers away from us at night. So fingers crossed it works out okay! It's something many people never think about until they know someone seriously impacted by it.
