Hi guys! Ever since I wore a bird cage veil (not white and not for a wedding) I became obsessed with wearing one for my big day. Problem is, I can't really picture it with a dress. Photos I'm seeing are either shoulders up or just very old fashioned.

Anyone have a recent photo of them in a bird cage veil with their dress? Professional photos even better?

I could just try when I go for my next fitting but that isn't until the summer so...

This is my dress with a veil. Not the veil I will ultimately use but it gives you a good visual of what I’m going for.

I didn’t like that flowery stuff on the veil so I bought material to make myself a simple one. So fingers crossed I can manage it. lol.

Yeah I feel the same way with what I want, although in your photo it looks very flattering. I hope it will be easy enough to do yourself! I've seen some simple ones on Etsy for a reasonable price so I'm considering purchasing one. But I'd hate to receive it and then not love it... 😕

My sister had a birdcage veil and it was gorgeous and SO unique! I'm posting some photos of her (apologies for the crude editing skills, trying to maintain her privacy). IIRC she made it herself. The tropical flowers she had also helped to modernize her look.
