Although my wedding isn’t until 2022 I have been looking for vendors and comparing prices. I’m just wondering about how much you guys paid for photography & videography. I have a quote from a vendor who did my friends wedding about 2-3 years ago (he is amazing). His package has everything I want, the engagement session is free and they have a photo booth (which I really want). The price he quoted me is $4200 and without the photo booth it’s $3900. The package includes:

$4200 for photo and video and photobooth seems pretty good to me.

I’m paying that much just for videography! I think if you already know his work and it’s what you want, go for it! I would have loved such an amazing deal!

That seems super reasonable! I paid a little under $3000 for 5 hours of photo and 3 hours of video.

That’s actually an amazing deal. I love that your getting everything done early. (#girlswhoplan) I would get the photobooth. It’s a fun addition and you’d get pics of people that you wouldn’t normally get.

If you like their work, definitely book ‘em! That’s a great deal. I paid around $14k for photography and videography.

I live in Southern California where prices tend to be higher. It was also one of the areas I decided to splurge on my dream vendors.

That seems reasonable!
We are paying $3,200 for 7 hours of photography (1 photographer) and all day videography (they include 12+ hours for the videographer). They are allowing full print release and will be giving us a thumb drive with our photos on it. We are getting a short 8 minute highlight reel and 3-4 hour long edited video.
We paid an additional $595 for engagement photos because we had those done by a different photographer while on vacation in Ireland last year.

Pricing all depends upon what the average is in your area. Where I'm from, my photography/videography package is very reasonably priced in comparison to other quotes. Other companies were charging $3-4k for just photography!!
