Is he a private person? I didn’t post any photos of our wedding on social media. My in laws and my sister/her husband did, but I didn’t want to. I made a cute video of our trip and used that to show people I picked to see it. Maybe your FH Is similar?

The photographer didn’t post your engagements on his social media? I can understand your disappointment, because I’m sure many of us would love to be spotlighted on a vendor’s page as an example of their work, but I wouldn’t take it to heart. Photographers especially have thousands of shots to choose from and can’t spotlight every client. Definitely try not to let this cloud your love for the photos and “turn you off” of your photographer.

If you really love the photos, don’t do that! Our photographers didn’t showcase our engagement photos on their social media but they absolutely killed it with our photos (engagements and ceremony thus far with a post-wedding shoot in a couple weeks) and I’m so glad we didn’t stop using them simply because our pictures weren’t on their social media. Photographer’s social media pages are carefully curated and even though they may not be shooting as many sessions due to COVID, they still have tons of material to choose for posts. Don’t lose a great photographer for your wedding over this!

I wouldn't let it bother you. He probably has several thousands pf photos to choose from. He cannot pick them all.

We had two different photographers, and one of our engagement photos made the cut for social media, but for our wedding, I've never seen them. And I thought we would have the unique photos that would be great for that!

But, as people have said, it's like asking an athlete or an actor to pick a game or a movie or something from all their work... and even if you loved what they did for you, it might not be *their* favorite.

It's frustrating. I wouldn't think anything of it, unless you only ever see the same type of photo on their featured albums. Then I might say something.

We had my mom take our engagement photos, and so when I found our wedding photographer and she had a portrait session included in the wedding package, we did bridal and boudoir photos, which are a surprise for FH, so she won’t post them yet.

Men feel differently about weddings. Don't let it get to you. It's not uncommon women aged more excited about the day. Doesn't mean he doesn't love you.

Adoro I misunderstood. I thought you meant your fh. I mean I still wouldn't take it personal. There's a lot you have to worry about don't add more stress. Worse case you can msg asking if he plans to.

Was it in your contract for the photographer to post pictures afterward or something? If not, I’m not sure why it matters what THEY share on their social media. But if you want your pics shown to others, then post them onto YOUR social media.
