Hi girls... I would like to know what’s the standard or reasonable price for a photographer? Thanks you for the support here!

My general impression is for lower cost of living areas two to three thousand. For higher cost of living areas four to six thousand. There are obviously cheaper and more expensive in both scenarios that’s just what I’ve seen.

In my area, it's around $300-$400 an hour when broken down within a package. Then albums, 2nd shooters, etc are all extra.

One thing I recommend when looking at photographers in addition to price is their turnaround time for photos! Something to consider when you are reading over contracts.

It really depends on area, level of experience, if they have a second shooter, amount of time shooting photos, amount of time editing...

I’m in the Philadelphia area and our photographer + 2nd shooter (8 hours) + boudoir shoot will come out to $2800.

Agreeing with everyone else, it depends on the area you live in. We paid $2,000 for 2 shooters, for 6 hours, and our package included our engagement shoot. We live in NC.

We paid $3,200 for ours. That included 1 photographer and an assistant for 8 hours with 800+ edited photos, and an engagement shoot with 100+ edited photos.
