Your pricing does seem high!

My photographer is $3200. My wedding is in San Diego in November.

Includes:

• 8 Hours of Coverage
• 2nd Photographer
• Professional Editing of Images
• Online Gallery for 10 years
• Photo Print Release

The original package included the album, but we figured we can create our own for much less.

Hi Melanie! I got some pricing info from the WeddingWire Cost Guide , it can help give you an idea about what other couples in your area are paying and what costs factor into the quoted prices. You can also compare these prices to national averages, and of course change the city to more closely reflect where your ceremony will be.

Hi Melanie, I'm getting married in central jersey and we're paying 5150. Our planner said this was a fantastic price for our area for 10 hours of photography + video. I know we'll get way more than 50 pictures though.

Depends on the area and the amount of photos you are going to have, but the price seems reasonable for the number of workers and the outcome you've described. Our photographer isn't going to edit all the photos, she'll choose just the best ones (no questions at this point, I understand there will be A LOT of pictures and post-processing them all sounds crazy, even if you are a Photoworks pro). We are paying around $3500 but your price looks reasonable to me.

I think it's high. Have you searched for other photographers? Check the pricing for Sajor Photography. I think they might be a bit more reasonable.
