It will vary on your area and how busy they are. I would say in my area 2 photographers will go at least $2000 but two is worth it.

Price depends mainly on your location and how many hours they will be with you. Do a search on Instagram for "yourcityweddingphotographer" and browse the various styles. They will have price layouts on their official sites.

Major cities cost more than rural. There is no one size fits all.

$2700. If you have the option of 2 photographers, I would definitely go for it. They can get some really cool shots and are helpful in particular if you’re doing a first look.

Mine is $1600 and I really had to hunt for her. Most I saw in my area were well over $2000 just for 1.

Sometimes price varies with your area/city. And depending on the package 2 photographers may already be included

We paid $2,000 and that was a good deal. It included 2 shooters and a full day of coverage.

We had 120 guests and paid $5000 for our photographer. The package came with a 1-hour engagement session, a 15 spread photo album, 10 hours of coverage, and a second shooter. Pricing will depend on what city you're in.

Photography prices can vary a lot based on your location and how experienced/sought after the photographer is. We are paying $2,000 for our photographer. We are having a small destination wedding with under 50 people, so we are only having one shooter. With 150-200 guests, you may want to consider a second shooter if it’s within your budget. If not, a professional photog should be experienced in getting the important shots even with that many people.

We are paying 1800 for our photography but that also includes videography as well as an inflatable photo booth. If you're having that many guests I would definitely look into having 2 photographers

We paid $4k, which was a *discount*.... but we got married in NYC. (It was also our biggest cost, after venue.)

Use the "Planning Tools", up above, to see the average costs in your area.

    Prices vary wildly by region.

$3200 and that's with a small discount. A bit pricey, but that's Hawaii for you. Unfortunately, it only provides 5 hour coverage; however, it will include a second shooter. Her rates were comparable to others and her work is exceptional. Our guest count is approx. 100.

I lucked out with a newer photographer with a great portfolio. She is traveling from out of state, bringing a second shooter, including bridals, spending the night the night before and night of our wedding (so she can scope out the venue before, and so she can follow us downtown to get photos of us hitting the town with our bridal party) all for $2,000 and the price of a two night stay in a hotel. And she isn't giving me a max amount of hours she is willing to shoot.

If you're in the Georgia/South Carolina area I will send you her info!

Our photographer package in the Panhandle Florida area for two for six hours was $1,900 and we got a deal. As others suggested, use the "Planning Tool" by Wedding Wire to calculate how much to expect to spend in your area. Another factor to consider that will affect the cost is how long you want them for. We chose six hours as opposed to eight as I don't really care to have pictures of guests dancing.

$2500-3k definitely should do two. Most wedding photographers have a second shooter when doing large weddings so ask before hiring 2 separate photographers.
