For everything you are getting, that sounds right on par for average costs we found.

That honestly sounds high to me. How many vendors did you compare with?

That seems a little high to me, though a lot of it really depends on the location you're looking for vendors in and the experience level of the vendors.

2 photographers and 1 videographer. 10 hours of coverage and a 12x12 photo album?


That does sound unreasonable depending on area.

It all depends on who you book. For instance the photographer we booked for our wedding cost us $6500 (some of that was a travel fee as he does travel for weddings a lot and traveled for mine but most was just his cost). That was for 10 hours. We didn’t pay him for an album though because that would’ve been more. Just did all of our pics digital. Then we paid him an additional $600 to have him bring a second photographer along for 7 hours. We also had a videographer for 9 hours and that cost us $3500.


Honestly I think it’s not a bad deal what you’re getting. i see a lot of people go cheap and get cheap work. Sometimes you get lucky but mostly I think you get what you pay for. As long as you like their work and think they’re worth it

It totally depends on your market, and even last year’s prices are no longer comparable to this year. For the record, our photo/video in central FL for two photographers, two videographers, an album, and a USB for 8 hours was $6000. We then booked the same studio for one photographer for a two-hour session at one of the other wedding-related events for $600. So for two hours more plus an engagement session, that $8k looks on par with what we’re paying.

Depends on the market. I would get a few more quotes.
