ASAP. A lot of photographers book up at least a year out. So I would start contacting people and put down a deposit as soon as you can.

Absolutely as soon as possible! My first choice for a photographer was booked already when I contacted him 9 months before the wedding.

Definitely get on that ASAP! We've had our photographer booked since September 2018 for our July 2020 wedding. Your top choices may already be booked (though you may get lucky) so I would definitely be reaching out to photographers this week.

Book them now. Our wedding is October 2020 and our top five photographers that we emailed were already booked and we are back to square one in choosing a photographer. I would get on that ASAP.
