How long are the photographers usually with you the day of? How much should you end up spending?

I find it really common for a photographer to stick around for eight hours on the wedding day.

Pricing depends in many factors. Where are you located? Do you want a second shooter? What level of quality do you want? How many photos do you get? (All, 1,000+, 500+, all edited, black and white, etc.).

Reach out to local photographers to get a feel of what is in your area, and spend a lot of time browsing their work online! Good luck!

Our package included 6 hours which would cover the wedding plus an hour for me. However, the "getting ready" photos with my friends were important to me so she also includes the ability to add on more hours to any package, so adding 2 hours to the beginning so that she can capture both me and my fiance getting ready.

It really deep d's on what all you want covered. If you want from getting ready shots to leaving reception or some where in between. Some photographers have a minimum number of hours they'll cover but I think most people use their photographer for 6-12 hours Most of the photographers we looked at in our area started at $1600 and went up though each areas pricing is different.

We are eloping. Our wedding elopement package requires a sit down dinner in their dining room (don't need pics of us eating). We have our photographer for 6 hrs. Wedding is at 3 and photographers will leave at 6. Good photographers are expensive, for the most part. We are paying about 3400 for 2 photographers and video-same company. I know people who have paid much less and much more.

I am having my photographers and videoography there for 8 hours. It all depends on the photography and their pricing. Good luck! My wedding isn’t 8 hours long obviously but I want everyone there for the behind the scenes

In my area, wedding photography starts at around 3k. Our photographer cost $3800, with unlimited time for wedding day, unlimited time engagement shoot, and digital negatives. I plan on having her for the wedding for about 8-9 hours.

I'm having the videographer being there for 6 hours 2300 and the photographer be there for 8 hours with a second photographer because we are having at least 80 people and we wanted to capture both my fiancé and I getting ready. We got a package deal for 4600 that included an engagement shoot since we wanted to have our engagement for our invitations take in NC where our wedding is going to be.
