Photographer tip advice for engagement shoot

Hi everyone! My fiancé and I are getting married October 2021. We hired our photographer, a husband and wife, that live about 2 hours from our venue. Part of the package includes a free engagement shoot. There is a travel fee for the wedding, since they live kind of far, but they waived the travel fee for our engagement shoot. Our engagement shoots is next weekend at our venue. How much should we tip them?? I seriously have no idea.

    According to google it should be around $50-$100. I’d do $100 since they’re driving so far.

    If you want to tip them for going above and beyond then tip whatever you'd like to. If they own their own business and are not employees of someone else then etiquette dictates that a tip is not required or expected.

    Does the photographer own the business? If so, no tips is expected

    It's up to you Cora, based on if you feel like they've gone above and beyond!!

    I think a tip would be nice - especially since they're traveling for this shoot!
