HELP! I have not been able to get my photographer to pin down final details of the schedule or get her to even reply to my messages or emails. My wedding is two and a half weeks away. At what point should I say the neck with her and try to figure something else out? I signed a contract and have paid in full. She had a family emergency and I understand that these things happen but I don't have much longer to figure this out! Thank you in advance!

I would start looking for back up ASAP but that is just me as I am a freak about that

I'd look for a backup just to be on the safe side. However, emergencies do unfortunately happen and it may take her a while to respond. If you can, I'd call her and ask to meet up a week before the wedding (at the latest) and if she is unable to set aside time for that, I'd ask her if she needed to be let out of the contract. Also, I'd check the contract and she if she's obligated to get a replacement for herself if she is unable to attend.

My wedding is next week and I'm just sorting out those details tomorrow. You've still got some time. Do they have an office you can go to? Have you called or just emailed?

You have two and a half weeks, how long ago was her emergency and how big of a thing was it? How long have you been trying to contact her? Like if someone died and she’s at the funeral or planning it, give her a few days. It stinks but she’s a human, and if she’s a pro, she will be there and get it handled.

It was something with her family member. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt but don't want to wait too much longer. I know things happen that are out of people's control.
