Just Said Yes November 2021

Photographer Length

Hi everyone!

I currently have my photographer booked for 7 hours. The girls will be getting ready at a salon and then arriving at the venue at 2:30, and the photographer is scheduled to arrive at 3. We’re extending the reception until 10 and doing a sparkler exit so I would like her there the full time. I would like to do some pictures in matching robes and what not beforehand, so I’m wondering if I should add on more time and have her arrive earlier. Or would her arriving at 3 be enough time because the ceremony doesn’t start until 4:30?
Thanks!!

I would suggest talking to the photographer about that. Give them your timeline and they can advise or at least should be able to advise when they need to arrive and if more time is needed.

you may need to book for the full day.

    Good luck

I think that's enough time but I think it'd go by so much faster than ya think. Maybe the photographer will have a clause that she comes early to set up or something or for instance my dj said we he goes over the allotted time frame by half an hour then it's ok free of charge for me.

My photographer came at 1 for our 3:00 ceremony and I thought it was a little rushed.

You may want to have more time with her before the ceremony. Personally, I want pics of my time with my girls while we're getting ready. So before the dresses are on and such. But we're not doing a big exit after the wedding, so I don't mind if the photographer leaves before we're done partying. Just depends on what your priorities are.
