So I have a question about your experiences with your photographer, specifically the contract language, deposits and when final payment should be made.
I'm asking because as I was reading over a proposed contract for a photographer, she had an initial deposit due with the contract (seems reasonable) and then the balance due the month before the wedding date (seems questionable). The plan is definitely to discuss this with her, perhaps there was just a typo but none of our other vendors, with the exception of the venue, require payment in full a month before the event; everyone else we has the final payment due the week before, day before or day of or on delivery.
For A photographer, I would imagine there would be a deposit, maybe a payment on the day of or before the wedding and then a final payment with the delivery of the photos?
What are your arrangements with your photographers? And any recommendations on how I broach this topic with our photographer?
