Has anyone tried a photofacial IPL before? The salon that I go to had a crazy flash deal last week & I was talking to my Aesthetician and she said that I would have amazing results because I’m fair skin w/ dark hair/dark pigment & she allowed time to purchase the package at the sale price.

For those who have had it - how were the results? The hope is to get 2x before the wedding - 1x next week (I had laser hair removal today so I need to give my skin a few days) and 1x the first of October to allow enough time for the skin to “pepper”.

IPL is a wonderful machine! As long as you have someone who knows what they are doing your results should be great! I’ve been working at a facial plastics office for 5 years now and we do so much IPL because we are in SoCal and sunspots and pigmentation are a man concern for many patients.. Typically you do need at least 3-4 treatments to see optimal results but having 2 should be a great start! Good luck! Also, SPF needs to be some your new bff- we sell Elta MD and it’s AMAZING!!

Thanks! The package that I got is for 4x - the deal was amazing - 75% off, so all 4x sessions were $287.50. The woman who I go to is also awesome. PA doesn’t required license to operate, but the salon requires them. I’m super excited to see my results! Oh, I know I am so good w/ spf now - but the damage was caused by years of tanning in high school. Thankfully that’s all my carelessness caused.
