I mean $400 is cheap for 3 hrs. I have seen people charge in or close to the thousands for photobooth and I laughed at those prices. Mine is like $325 for 2 hrs.

I am having one at my wedding ( in 6 weeks). At first I was debating whether or not to have one but actually our DJ had a deal that included a photobooth. I've been to 3 weddings in the past 2 years that had photobooths. They were very fun. It gives people a chance to be entertained just in case the wedding agenda isn't full of events. So if there is a lot of downtime during the wedding (to be honest most weddings won't haha) then its perfect.

One of my friends actually had a glue stick near the photobooth (photobooth printed out 1 photo and had an option to have it sent to 1 email in which the user can input) and had a guest book that guests could past the photos and write their blessings or comments under. I thought this was fun. But if it comes down to price, it isn't something everyone NEEDS.

I love this idea! Where will you put the scavenger hunt cards? Our venue has a self guided tour so this would be perfect!

I’m going to put the card at the tables because cocktail hour is in the same room as the reception! I’m having the DJ make an announcement too so they know to grab them.

I’m still working on that, but I’ll have things like certain people (grandparents, aunts), the DJ, the cake, centerpieces, and probably some fun hidden things. We’re having a Friday wedding so we should have the whole day before to decorate!

We’re purchasing a backdrop from zazzle ($60) with coupon) and placing props out with a selfie sign and our hashtag.

Yes. In total with props and the backdrop stand we spent a little under $100.

$400? What a steal. Prices here go up to $1795! We saw a mirror booth last night for $800 for three hours including props, red carpet, attendant, etc. I love the fact that guests can edit and email their photos. Also we get copies of all photos on a USB at the end of the night.

No photo booth for us! Personal opinion is that they are a little tacky and our venue is more simplistic and modern (and has LOTS of beautiful photo opportunities)

I think they're a lot of fun! I don't know the going prices for them, but one wedding I attended with FH they had a diy one and it was really nice! I guess they followed a pinterest tutorial and added their own touch. That could be a more affordable option!
