Photobooth or Caricature Artist?

I would prefer a photo booth because the caricature artist seems like it would take a long time but the idea of it is cool

Definitely a photo booth! For the same reason that Melle mentioned, a caricature artist would be cool, but they would take up way too much time and many of your guests likely would not get an opportunity. Also, photo booths are interactive. Caricatures would require your guests to sit still, and that is not fun at a wedding!

I like the caricature artist. They can whip portraits out pretty quickly depending on what you request. For example, a black and white, face only portrait will get more portraits for an hour. Also, every photo both photo I have gotten ends up in the trash. At least a caricature is something people might save.

I would prefer a photo booth. Photo booths are more fun/like an activity and things usually move along pretty fast. Though a caricature artist sounds like a reallyyy cool idea, I'd worry about how long each would take, how long the line would become, and could even take away from the dancing/socializing a bit.

As a guest (and a bride), I prefer photobooths. It's quicker so more guests can do it, and I'm more likely to save a small print out of a few pictures than a cartoon drawing.

Agreeing with photobooth! Fun to use all night, where as a caricature artist seems like you would get one and be done. Loses the appeal quickly, for me at least.

Photobooth! It takes less time for each guest to have their picture taken than to get scketched.
