We didn’t do save the dates. Budget was a big factor in the decision. Mostly because I couldn’t find the style I was looking for. I’m making my own invitations and other wedding stationery, so I feel putting more towards that will benefit us the most. This is a second marriage for the both of us. My fist wedding cost less then $1,000 and this time around my partner and I are more financially stable, so we can make it more of a wedding dream come true for both of us.

We did a photo! But our actual invites will be more plain without a picture

I made a magnet with our photo, names, date and location. The magnet will be attached to a really pretty paper that will say save the date, our wedding website and formal invitation to follow.

We designed ours (not the finished) but it was a progression of our relationship!

First photo is probably 7 months into our relationship. Photo two is our anniversary weekend where he proposed. The last photo was our beach trip!
I say whatever makes you happy, roll with it! đź’š

Awww thank you! We purchased a template from Etsy and was able to edit the font, photos, etc. I ordered my save the dates, envelopes from vista print, googled a vista print coupon and paid only $60.00 for them! They turned out amazing!

We did a picture. Served as a nice gift for our families, and our invites do not have our pics, so I felt it was a nice balance.
