Photo display at reception/cocktail hour

Amina, on October 2, 2019 at 11:31 AM Posted in Planning 0 4
Anyone else displaying photos of themselves as their FH at the wedding? I was previously considering having a projector playing a loop of pictures of us but my sister told me about how her friend just displayed pictures on a display board, like those foam ones from the dollar store. I was thinking pictures of each of us growing up and throughout our relationship

We had a bunting banner of photos ! And a large engagement photo printed. I've seen other set ups where the sign in table is a bunch of photos of the couple

We did! Our wine barrel room (where our buffet was) had a TV in the wall where we played baby pictures of us on a reel, then we had three canvas pictures of us displayed, and a window frame with about 20 pictures of us displayed throughout our relationship.

I am, but not on a large display. We have such a large space with tall ceilings, any sign or board would look puny in the rooms.

I went to a wedding earlier this year where they did small frames on the table that also acted like a favor and was inspired. I DIY'd these for the tables to compliment the garland and candles that run down them. Total cost was about ~$100 for the candlesticks, paint, corks (free), and .4x4 prints (free w/ Shutterfly coupon). Also, if people want to take the pics , they can!

We enlarged and framed two of our engagement photos to display at the reception (I think 11x14). We also had a picture of each of us when were about 4 at Christmas time since we had a Christmas wedding. Those were in smaller frames (about 5x7). I also had a wedding picture of his parents and a picture of my recently deceased mom (shown below).
