Photo booth

Hi all do you provide dinner for your photo booth attendant? We’re only hiring the photo booth attendant for three hours and wanted a start time from 8pm-11pm after dinner. Our dinner is served at 7 and we would have to pay for an additional “idle hour” and her meal to have her come during dinner.. How do we send an invite but express she will not be receiving dinner?

In my contracts with my vendors it stated that I will provide them food. However they will be there longer than 3 hours and during dinner so I would of offered food anyways. I don’t think it needs to be addressed, they won’t be their during dinner and they will probably have already eaten.

Although my concern is will she be setting up while your guests are eating dinner and will it be in the same location? If so I’d pay for the extra hour so she can set up before hand.

Hi Cassie, our contract has no mention of food in it. If she had that explicitly written I would make sure she has a dinner but it wasn’t in the contract.

So she will be arriving 30 minutes before the scheduled time to set-up. So she would be arriving halfway through dinner. She would be setting up on the second floor in an area that overlooks the venue. But she wouldn’t be setting up inside the ballroom where dinner is served

If you really don't want to provide dinner, state it in writing or amend the contract. Personally I would just pay the idle hour and provide her with dinner. Who knows, maybe guests who are finished quicker will hurry off to the booth or she will have extra time to set up so she is properly ready
